Debbie Bridge in the Treason Show

Debbie Bridge will be jumping into the Treason Show for the 1st time on November 17/18 & 23rd. If you like a bit of comedy and singing, then come out and support Debbie for this well established satirical Brighton based comedy show.

About the Show

The Treason Show – Brighton’s legendary satirical comedy show now in it’s record breaking 17th year. Founded by artistic director, Mark Brailsford in 2000, the show ran for nine years at Komedia Brighton before setting up shop at the Brighton Dome Pavilion.

The show is now regularly based at the prestigious Old Market, in Brighton & Hove and the Ropetackle, Shoreham. The show also tours with recent touring versions touring Sussex and intermittently, Berlin at The Kookaburra Comedy Club.

Written by a team of over 40 writers and performed by a team of multi-talented sketch performers, The Treason Show continues to wow it’s audiences with its fast-moving, gag-a-minute sketch show which since the show’s premier in June 2000, has become a Brighton institution.

Debbie Bridge leads audition singing workshop.

This is a practical workshop with Debbie to try out singing audition material for actors who find singing auditions traumatic and musical/classical performers with specific songs to work on. We will create a supportive and constructive environment to try things out. You can bring music of any style and all abilities and experiences are welcome. The morning session will be an introduction to the Meisner acting technique to then interpret this work in the afternoon, where there are dedicated solo audition slots (these cost extra to book see below).

Bluebell Railway Carol Singing (Event)

The Santa Special trains depart from Sheffield Park station for a ten-mile round trip to the beautifully restored Horsted Keynes station with special Dickensian themed activities for you to enjoy. Santa Himself will be on board your train where he present every child with a special Christmas gift and a festive treat. Mum and Dad will not be left out as Santa’s little helpers will be pleased to serve you with a free mince-pie, with the option to purchase drinks for refreshment. New for 2013, whilst the Observation car is out of service for overhaul, the 11am, 1:15pm and 3:30pm trains will have the Club Car Carriage available with Carol Singing (that’s me!) on the journey to Horsted Keynes and Santa on board for the return trip to Sheffield Park. (in the Club Car carriage only)

Solo Singing Classes

This one day intensive workshop run by Debbie Bridge will teach you the foundations of the Meisner Technique, which is fast becoming one of the most popular approaches to acting. Develop your spontaneity and responsiveness as a professional performer using the exercises developed by Sanford Meisner, founder member of New York’s ‘Group Theatre’. You will learn the Repetition Exercise, the basis of the Meisner Technique to help widen your emotional range and improve your on-stage interaction.
