Short Bio

Ever wondered what happens to a siren when she ages? Well, Shirley is here to tell you she is not willing to be put out to sea just yet…

Join in for a fun evening of songs, dancing and all things fishy.

Shirley’s cabaret sails through many decades of life’s rubbish as a Siren on the rocks!

Long Bio

Shirley met a local reporter at the Brighton Aquarium when, at an awkward moment, he found her face and mouth stuck to the seahorse tank. Turns out, she’s a well-known ‘Undead of the Deep’, a legend in her own fish tank, a fish about the high seas, Shirley Knot the Middle-Aged Siren. For 20 yrs she’s been the motion in all the oceans, she’s had a crack at Atlantis’ Got Talent and Come Fish with Me – An Underwater Dining Experience. Since leaving Atlantis, Shirley has swum all the main oceans including, the North Sea and the Antarctic Ocean. She’s a regular face at Hove lagoon, can be heard on ‘TOD’ Radio – Tales of the Deep and on her own online Swimcast – How to keep afloat in rising tides. A slippery, but wet fem-fatal and lady in the Spotlight – Queen Shirley Knot the Siren.

Her tail…

Shirley (aka Debbie Bridge), a siren (singer), is here to bring you her latest 1 woman show, Shirley the Middle-Aged Siren.

This gal is from New York and is bringing you some of her New York antics in classic cabaret style, but with a slight operatic twist.

Shirley finds herself “Washed Up” on the shores of the U.K. all the way from New York via London, England and laments at the trials of middle age: excess blubber, sea fog and seemingly becoming invisible.

She’ll have you laughing out loud 1 minute and nodding your head in empathy the next, as she takes you on a journey of songs and jokes.

“A sublime voice and beautifully executed role … amazing” The Stage
