Hot Seat Award – Halifax Fringe, Canada for Shirley Knot the Siren 2023 2nd Runner Up – Foxes Burlesque Alternative Cabaret Battle 2023 “The cast: ‘Dinah’, housewife DEBBIE BRIDGE – a sublime voice and beautifully executed role – was amazing.” – The Stage “The action was transposed to Sixties Italy, and conversation in the audience soon stopped when a dapper looking mod roared around the garden on a Vespa. An impressive and evocative rendition of Una Notte di Napoli by Debbie Bridge, later joined by the rest of the cast, established the sultry atmosphere of Sixties Naples.” – Jenny Mark-Bell – Sussex Life Magazine for Much Ado About Nothing “Musician, Debbie Bridge, sang beautifully.” – Rosie Clarke – Argus, Much Ado About Nothing “…and the lovely and talented singer, Ms Debbie Entendre played by Debbie Bridge.” – More or Lesque – Burlesque Journal – Renee Daze “Bridge not only made my hair stand on end, it resonated right down to the bone as one of those absolutely perfect musical moments that you’ll never forget.” Capital News “Shirley Knot the Siren is a treat just listening to Debbie Bridge’s mastery of her chosenmusic. She also has a good rapport and ability to banter with her audience, which gives the show an exciting energy.” – Amanda Campbell -TWISI “What is remarkable is Shirley’s voice. Powerful, emotive and clear. From the first notes of the first song, no matter how dead eared you are, and I am, it’s clear you’re with someone who can really sing. In an intimate atmosphere, the voice becomes even more impactful. The songs are good, be it musical numbers, show tunes or opera. My highlights were the opera, and a comic song called Sea Fog” – Jo Angella – Fringe Review – Good Show Broadway Baby & Henley Standard for Miss Givings Blog Articles Public Speaking: Do you love your voice? 5 top tips – Linked in article about how to love your voice                 50 0ver 50 interviewees – interviews with 50 women over 50 about their work/lives Podcast Find Tell Share Episode 19 with Debbie Bridge – talking about some stories in my life and my career Videos Voiceover guru with Esther Stanhope 1 Voiceover guru with Esther Stanhope 2 Voiceover guru with Esther Stanhope 3 Voiceover guru with Esther Stanhope 4 Voiceover guru with Esther Stanhope 5

Long Bio

Debbie Bridge and she lives to inspire confidence, power and truth. She has performed for British royalty, children, at Abbey Road Studios, the Savoy Theatre and to people on the London Underground. She is a traveler at heart. She is pleased that singing has taken her to Europe, South Africa, North America and Australia, but she never knows where she’s going next, sound nuts, but that’s the life of a singer. You never know when the next gig is coming or where? She has spoofed an operatic Princess Leia, has been a water pistol, raffle ticket selling gay cabaret singer, sung in the West End and she’s coerced, with her song, sparkling wine from picnicking audience members. Her favourite moments when singing are whenshe can see someone moved to tears because of the incredible connection she gets to make when performing. Her favourite response after a gig has been, ‘I managed to put my fork into my cheek (twice) and bit my tongue.’ So that’s the effect she wants to have on everyone who sees her work, that amazing bond that can only be shared by a singer and her audience. It moves lives.

Quotes

“Our guest Diva, Ms Debbie Bridge.  How she filled the room with her voice without the mic was incredible.  How she managed to keep the audience in a state of awe was something.  You will see more of her in our future Glam Jam sessions.”  – Lady Imelda, aka Miguel Diaz, Glam Jam cabaret “Debbie is a phenomenal opera singer and makes audiences feel comfortable and at ease. She knows how to work a crowd and get them to enjoy themselves. She is extraordinarily organised and helpful and I was very happy to employ her.” – Raymond-Kym Suttle – More or Lesque “Dedicated, reliable and fun to work with. A performer who combines her considerable artistry with a fresh and unexpected sense of fun. I will always be happy to work with this versatile lady.” Director of Much Ado about Nothing – Nicholas Quirke “Of course, I was delighted with my Sonata. You really captured its spirit.  It was certainly the best performance I have heard, and that includes performances by people such as Jane Manning, Noelle Barker and Mary Thomas.  Thank you so much for all the work you put in to learning the piece and the thought you gave to its interpretation.  I could not have asked for more. Other composers represented on the night and many other New Music Brighton members in the audience have commented on your significant contribution to what was a very successful concert, especially as you were asked to step in rather late in the day for some works. You are a real star! Thank you very much for all the work you put in beforehand and for your part in making the evening a landmark event in the history of New Music Brighton.” – Patrick Harrex – Chairman, New Music Brighton “Thank you so much for sharing love and singing for us. You are fabulous. Thank you for a fab evening.” – Carla Finzel – Street Vets Brighton “Hi Deb – yours was easily the best and most memorable show of the Hastings Fringe that I have seen so far.
